.Atoms.The state of matter::::.....

Three states of matter - ice water and steam.

Solid (ice) - High density which is hard to expand and compress. Solids have a rigid shape and the atoms motion is restricted and are placed close together. The molecules can be melted through the process of heat or can be chilled and solidify back into solid.

Liquid (water) - These liquid atoms are free to flow, so while the liquid has a define volume it does not have a define shape. Liquids can be evaporated through heat in order to create gas.

Gas (steam) - Gas particles do not have a define volume or shape and can be condensed back to a liquid.

.Plasma:::.....

The form of Plasma is a distinct phase of matter and involves the substance of charged particles the respond strongly through magnetic fields, taking the form of gas cloud ion beams. Since the atoms are electrically charged (generated by the strips of electrons), it is described as an "ionized gas." Also plasma is the last one discovered as a state of matter.

.Atoms.in Fragmentation:::.....

"Fragmentation is the process or state of breaking or being broken into small or separate parts."

Image above is an example of the cross section of sugar beads before (eft) and after (right) which has been compressed. This can be used as an example on how to understand the meaning of fragmentation.

Fragmentation in molecules - The use of a sulfur fluoride molecules, six fluoride atoms surrounding a central sulfur atom which is determined by the state of electrons. Then once the two electron are ejected by a x-ray pulse, the molecules might fragment by shedding the two fluorine atoms. The electrons rearrange and begin to multiple.

This idea of the buildings falling but can be seen as the building are forming back to it's original brick raw materials from the fragment of space, from this point I's realized within myself that I kept on replaying it as I admire the concept and the use of technique on this quick video clip.

"LEOSlo - I first used a tool to fragment a 3d object. A 2d object version of the fragmentation tool was developed for my hummingbird film in 1967. Then I made copies of the fragmented object and created groups. the animation has several groups which move independent of one another." - quoted by Charles Cusuri.

From Charles Cusuri video I find the piece quite abstract and his use of lighting and how it reflects into the use of colours.
